Rocky Valentine, Ed. D.
“Supporting Storytime Park is an investment in our children and families — creating a safe, welcoming space where they can play, grow, and belong together in the heart of our community.”
Our Vision: “We long to bring our community together through a shared endeavor. Our goal is to improve mental, emotional, and spiritual health while also investing in a place that blesses our neighborhoods for generations to come.”
Jerald L. Andrews, President Emeritus - Missouri Sports Hall of Fame
“Being a native of Bolivar, I have watched the Rogersville school and community continue to develop over the years. It is not surprising to me that a vision has evolved to create such an exemplary outdoor recreation space that will have an immense impact on the community and its patrons. I have known Chris Ballard for over twenty years and have witnessed first-hand his commitment to ministry and to people he has been called to serve. I have especially been grateful for the impact that he has had upon the youth of the area through the school system and the Story Church. I know the community and others will be willing to support such a great cause with an exceptional plan and leadership.”
Storytime Park is NOT a city project but it is endorsed by our city’s leadership. It is a community-built, community-funded, yet privately-owned non-for-profit park. While Story Church, as a 501c3 non-profit is providing the land, vision and leadership, the park will be free and open to the public. Click on either logo to visit the “Pledge and Give” page.
